My parents saw the King Penguin at Fortescue Bay at about 11.30 am today(Wednesday). It was present at the southern end of the beach. If anyone is thinking of looking for it, it may be worth ringing the local ranger for any updates. I can provide the telephone numbers.

Now folks not long ago debate was raised on this the world's best email list about thee indescriminate banding of wild birds .... now I see your advocating ringing local rangers ..... well enough is enough, this can't go on. What is it with you Ozzies that have to slip a ring on to all good looking ozzie birds and now of course local rangers.

This is not on.
