We have also had a flock of about 30 White-throated Needletails in
the Coonabarabran district (31 deg S; 149 deg E) on Sunday 9
February, coinciding with threatening weather (the thunderstorm
didn't eventuate). I don't recall seeing these birds here before.
We also have seen Yellow-faced Honeyeaters apparently migrating East, much earlier than normal, in the past week.
