Hi all, Chris,  It sounds as though you have the same Ruff as we had in the Hawkesbury,as it was also very aggressive having a go at Stilts and jumping up to try to peck the ducks heads on many occasion. Maybe there is someone out there who can tell us if this is normal behaviour for a Ruff, I can see why iys called a Ruff now, and here am I thinking it was due to the ruff adorning this species in breeding plumage.
