Hi Mike & Jillian
Having just read your Little Tern reports I feel emotionally drained. Thanks for sharing your experiences, frustrations and hopes with us.

And I thought I had problems 'looking after' Hooded Plovers on my local beach!! Yesterday I saw a 4 week old chick just after it had been attacked by something, and was in the process of dying. The parents were 'going ballistic' with the seagulls that were more than the 'usual safe distance' away. As they are known predators of Hooded Plover chicks they may well have been the culprits.

Cheers
Val
