All of today's birding has been from indoors!
Through the window, I watched a Sacred Kingfisher capture and ingest a very
young Eastern Water Dragon, at the same time that some Plum-headed Finches
came to the opposite creekbank to drink. Apart from that, my attention has
been glued to the computer all day, as I've undertaken a substantial update
of the Abberton website.
Six months between updates is pretty poor, I know. But, as of today, things
are bang up to date. I've added about 50 recent photographs including Trevor
Ford's great photo of the Laughing Gull while it was in full plumage, a few
more Painted Snipe images, and generally lots of snaps of what's been around
at Abberton and in the valley over the last half-year or so.
So, apart from just going to the "Latest photographs" area, I'd suggest
clicking on "2002" as well - there's quite a bit there that I've mentioned
in postings but haven't put up till now.
