Hello all,

I have just observed, at 6:15 am 26/01/2003, a pair of Spangled Drongos on the
power wires outside
my residence at Woody Point in South East Queensland.
This is probably the earliest date in any year so far that I have recorded this
species in this
location.
January records for my 'backyard' are rare.
A couple of days ago I had a suspicion that I had caught a fleeting glimpse of
a Spangled Drongo
flashing by but had dismissed it as 'wishful thinking'.
Perhaps I had been correct in that ID after all?

Cheers
Bob Inglis
