Hi everybody,

I?m a Swedish ecologist and birder visiting Brisbane for a year. I wonder if anyone could recommend a few good birding spots between Brisbane and Rockhampton. I will drive mainly along the coast but it would also be interesting to go inland and see some woodland birds. However, I do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The goal is basically to see a good variety of species, but I also really would like to see some specific species, e.g., budgerigar. How far west do you have to go to find them?

Many thanks in advance,
Niclas Jonzén
