G'day all

Apparently lots of folk have been to see the Little Bittern(s) in Bundoora
(northern Melbourne) - and most have been successful.

Unfortunately, I'm told, a few people have been a bit impatient and have
ventured into the reeds. Please don't do this.

Take a chair and sit under a tree near the pavillion. There are lots of
other birds to look at while you wait and the Bitterns are more likely to
hang around for the next birder.

I'm unable to get down to Melbourne again for a while but would appreciate
any updates. Do we know how many LB's there are and if they are definitely
nesting?

The Channel 7 news tonight might have an item on the bitterns.

Cheers

Steve
