But might a plea of self-defence suffice?  I knew a forest ranger in
Queensland fifty years ago, who reckoned that Scrub Turkeys would attack a
bloke.  And if he had to kill one in self-defence, well, it would be a pity
to waste it!

Any really vicious ducks in Victoria?   :-)
