G'day all

There were at least 2 Broad-billed Sandpipers at Deception Bay (between Redcliffe and Caboolture) SEQLD yesterday and today. They were associating mainly with the Red-necked Stints but Curlew Sandpipers were also close by at times.

Other waders and terns present there today(Sunday) included Eastern Curlew, Bar-tailed Godwit, Great Knot, Terek Sandpiper, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Gull-billed Tern, Whiskered Tern and Little Tern.

This area is accessed from Webster Road which joins The Esplanade. Webster Road runs off the main road which is Deception Bay Road.

Cheers
Gavin Goodyear
