Hi all,
Just to let anyone interested know, we found the Nullarbor race of the Cinnamon Quail-thrush just behind the Nullarbor Roadhouse. We followed the directions in Thomas & Thomas (going east for 1km then heading north) but found no quail-thrush at their site about 6km north. We did however find good numbers only about 1-2km down the north track. However, they were very flighty and would not let us approach closer than about 100m. Has anyone else found this with these birds? Every other quail-thrush I have seen has been uninterested even when I approached within 20m.
Happy birding,
Susan
PS no sign of the Grey Falcon :(
