Just to let everyone know the names of the people who found the
Isabelline Wheatear. Dale Herter, Alan & Betty Grenon from USA and Neal
Chartier from Canada - they were staying at Kingfisher Park at the time.
We certainly should acknowledge their excellent observational skills and
for sharing the sighting. (Thanks to Carol & Andrew Iles from Kingfisher
Park for the names of the observers)
Sadly it appears that the bird has left Mount Carbine for dustier
pastures. It was last seen on Monday afternoon 25th Nov by Glenn Holmes.
A search of three hours on the Tuesday morning failed to find it and
another last Saturday by several people in the morning and evening also
failed, so it may have left the area.
