As i work just around the corner from Heatherton Rd Wetlands I took a couple of
hours off in the morning yesterday and again after work. No Yellow Wagtail to
be seen, but many other good birds such as Aust Bittern, White-necked Heron,
Royal Spoonbill, Great Egret, Baillon's Crake, Buff-banded Rail, Rufous
Songlark, Horsfield's Bronze Cuckoo as well as more usual suspects. Looks like
a promising area, though it could do with a few trees planted. Unfortunately
the mud the Yellow Wagtail was seen on is now well and truely under water after
todays rain.

Cheers
Tim

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there were any sightings yesterday or today of the
Yellow Wagtail reported on birdline over the weekend. Any further
directions?
John
