Hi all,

Up to now in Australia we saw a few species that may intrest some people (4 
weeks).

Regent Honeyeater 10 (Glen Davis), Plum-headed Finch 100+ (Glen Davis), Eastern 
Bristlebird 1 & Pilotbird 1 (Barren Grounds), Double-banded Plover 1 (Magic 
Point-Sydney), Satin Flycatcher 2 (Warriewood-Sydney), Lewins Rail 1 (Dharug 
NP), Rufous Scrubbird 1, Alberts Lyrebird 6 (Lamington NP), Marbled Frogmouth 1 
(Mt Glorious), King Quail (Cooloola NP), Lesser Frigatebird 2, American Golden 
Plover 1 (Lady Elliot Island), Freckled Duck 2 (botanical Gardens Bundaberg), 
Eungella Honeyeater 2 (Chelmans Road - Eungella NP), Golden Bowerbird 1 (Mt 
Spec), Eastern Grass Owl 3 (Trebonne), Southern Cassowary 2 (Mission Beach), 
Mangrove Robin 2 (Cardwell), Red-necked Crake 2 (Boardwalk Botanical Gardens- 
Cairns), White-browed Crake 2 (Cairns Croc Farm), White-browed Robin 3 (Big 
Mitchell Creek), Varied Sitella 20 & Rufous Owl (Wentworth Falls), Sarus 3 
(Lake Mitchell), Lesser Sooty Owl (Kingfisher Park), Fernwren 1 & Pied Monarch 
(Mt Lewis), Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfisher (Kingfisher Park), Red Goshawk ad 
+ juv (Lakefield NP), Golden-shouldered Parrot 25 (Windmill Creek), Oriental 
Plover 1 (Musgrave Roadhouse), Squatter Pigeon (Coen), Yellow-billed Kingfisher 
2, Black-winged Monarch 2, Frilled Monarch, Palm Cockatoo, Electus Parrot, 
Trumpet Manicode, Papuan Frogmouth, Northern Scrub-robin, White-browed Robin, 
Red-cheecked Parrot, Magnificent Riflebird, Yellow-legged Flycatcher, Tropical 
Scrubwren, Fawn-breasted Bowerbird (IRon Range (very dry up there also)), 
Broad-billed Sandpiper 1 (Esplanade Cairns), Black-throated Finch 15 
(Cumberland Dam), Carpentarian Grasswren 1 (MacNamaras Road), Spotted Bowerbird 
5 (Mt Isa), Flock Pigeon more than 500 (Alroy Downs)(in the evening), 5.000 
Cockatiels (in the morning there), Black Falcon 1 here, at Barkly Homestead 2 
Black Falcons and 20.000+ Budgerigars, Yellow Chat female (at a bore 210 km 
north of Barkly Homestead) and few oriental Plovers on our way up to Cape 
Crawford! 360 species in 4 weeks is not too bad!
