The Yellow Pages South Australian Tourism Awards 2002 aims to recognise and promote excellence in the State's multi-billion dollar tourism Industry.

At a 'Black Tie' Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday night,
Gluepot Reserve was announced as the winner of the Ecotourism Category. The Awards evening was attended by over 900 people and the award was presented to the Reserve by the SA Minister for Tourism, Hon Dr Jane Lomax-Smith MP.

The Reserve was judged as the most outstanding entry in the Ecotourism category, and our 'competition' was from the likes of Yookamurra Sanctuary and Warrawong Earth Sanctuary. The Reserve received an A3 parchment certificate and a brass plaque.

Gluepot Reserve will now represent South Australian in the Ecotourism category of the Australian Tourism Awards, to be held in Adelaide in February 2003.

Cheers
