Hi Koren and all The Museum of Victoria now has reptiles on its bioinformatics pages to add the excellent ones on frogs and butterflies and... The pages include images, a bit of biological info., distribution maps. http://www.museum.vic.gov.au/bioinformatics/ Most likely to be Marbled Gecko Christinus marmoratus which is widespread and really quite common in my area. Said by some to be introduced in log piles etc. but really well established. My own most recent record was 15/10, one found by my wife in our upper storey bathroom.
