Dear Kiran,

Am I wrong to think that the environment is owned by no one but we all have responsibilty to and for it? a bit like the cowpat your neighbour burns for heat and yet places it in thee perfect wind location so that thee neighbour gets the odour whilst the burner/burnee gets the heat? when concensus is reached between many then the individual should be condemned or ordained? dependent upon outcome?

pondering whilst working JAG De Whag!

Andrew,

I think that it is, insofar as society is a kind of contract between past, present and future. All I am saying is (and Mises, at the very least an agnostic agrees with me) that value comes from the individual, and we aren't going to get anywhere with conservation by running roughshod over the individual.
