Gidday Birders, I have just heard from a birder friend in East Kurrajong (NW edge of the Sydney basin) of a Red-capped robin which has recently taken up residence in his back paddock. This is the first record I have heard of in recent years in the area. Does anyone have more recent records for this species in western sydney? Who knows what else will turn up as the drought continues.
