The next Birds Australia VicGroup Meeting will take
place on Thursday 10th October at 8:00pm.  The venue for the
meeting is Strathcona Baptist Girls School.

Our guest speaker is Victor Hurley.  Victor, the Victorian
Peregrine Project Coordinator, will speak on his recent exploits on a bird
project in the USA and will provide an update on the Victorian
Peregrine project.  Peregrine Falcons are fascinating birds so don't
miss this opportunity to learn a little more about them.

Although the main meeting starts at 8:00 PM, it will be preceded by a
meeting of the VicGroup Conservation Committee at 6:30 PM.  Anyone
interested in attending the earlier meeting as well as the main one is
very
welcome to do so.  It will be held in Classroom S 203, upstairs,
opposite the theatre entrance.
Venue

using their auditorium which seats 100 people.   Our target for
VicGroup meetings is to fill the auditorium so please come along and bring a
friend!  Carparking is available in the nearby street and also on the
premises via an entrance on the approach to the school off 'one-way' Scott
Street.  The entrance is just after crossing Claremont Crescent on the left
hand side.  The nearest train station is Canterbury (Mel: 46 D
