I saw one in Lawn Hill NP (north-west QLD) on the weekend too. Can they
make some noise or what!

Hi everyone,
saw my first Channel-billed Cuckoo in Brisbane last Friday. I was at
University of Queensland St Lucia campus working for the week so felt
very lucky to come across one this early in the season. It was being
harassed by a Torresian Crow and Pied Butcherbird and making that great
chuckle call.
