I have to ask:  Where is Lyndhurst?

G'day Syd,

Close to the New Forrest in Hampshire England UK is thee original, but of course, as per usual they stole the name for a beaut spot in Sowf Oz.

And what strange rites do Chestnut breasted Whiteface indulge in during eclipses?

Now you see us now you don't? unless it's a wednesday? in which case they erect large monoliths then form a circle around them, encircling the hens until they turn to stone. Hence Stone Hens near Lyndhurst.

Eclipse of the sun, is it Anton?

Syd

JAG potters off to make some more snow to greet Anton in Tassie, itchy woolen combs for Tones eh?

Hello Simon is out of the office again? no wonder at long long last we get some rain :^D>>> hmmm waanders off to investigate unusual bird cawl blue wooden spoon at the ready.

Is anyone out there planning on a birding trip perhaps to see Chestnut-breasted Whiteface during the eclipse this year?

It's happening on the 4th December and is 100% around the Lyndhurst area.

Cheers, Simon
