What do you mean? Introduced to where? Are you in Australia?

Both species of Kookaburra are native to Australia. The Laughing Kookaburra is native to eastern Australia and was introduced to a few new locations as follows (from J.L. Long 1981): south-west Australia, Kangaroo Island, Flinders Island, Tasmania and New Zealand. Don't be confused about the scientific name Dacelo novaeguineae, the species does not occur in New Guinea, that was a piece of early explorer fraud.

The Blue-winged Kookaburra occurs only in its native northern Australia.
