Hello all, A few unusual sightings around the Hawkesbury area, today at Penrith Lakes a White-breasted Woodswallow, a Diamond Dove escapee more than likely,30 Red-capped Plovers and some Sharpies. There are now 2 Black-tailed Native Hens at Pitt Town Ferry Rd Lagoon as well as Sharpies. A Osprey was in the Penrith Lakes area earlier in the week. Things are looking good around the lagoons with lots of mud and shallows could be a good year for waders if it dose'nt rain, yes I know we need rain, but us waders starved Sydneyites are due for a good year. Good birding Keith Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
