Notice of Meeting for Victorian members of Birding-Aus.

The next Birds Australia VicGroup Meeting will take place on Thursday 12th September at 8:00pm.  The venue for the meeting is Strathcona Baptist Girls School.

Our guest speaker is Susan Myers.  The title of Susan's presentation is "Birdlife and Natural History of Malaysia and Borneo".  This will be a fascinating presentation as Susan has travelled extensively in Asia and has recorded over 1500 species of birds.

Although the main meeting starts at 8:00 PM, it will be preceded by a meeting of the VicGroup Conservation Committee at 6:30 PM.  Anyone interested in attending the earlier meeting as well as the main one is very
welcome to do so.  It will be held in Classroom S 203, upstairs, opposite the theatre entrance.

Venue details:  Strathcona Baptist Girls School (Mel: 46 D 12).  We are using their auditorium which seats 100 people.   Our target for VicGroup meetings is to fill the auditorium so please come along and bring a friend!  Carparking is available in the nearby street and also on the premises via an entrance on the approach to the school off 'one-way' Scott Street.  The entrance is just after crossing Claremont Crescent on the left hand side.  The nearest train station is Canterbury (Mel: 46 D 11).
