I must say I'm impressed by Edwin's crakes and Mick's finches! Didn't Keith Brandwood see 13 species of raptor in one day in the Hawkesbury area a couple of years ago? As for nocturnal birds, I once heard five species in one night, all at the one campsite. It was at Glen Davis, in February 1999 and they were: Boobook Owl, Tawny Frogmouth, Owlet-nightjar, Barn Owl and White-throated Nightjar. Surely someone can better that, somewhere!
