G'day to all, Further to Peter Waanders report of a Bustard at Waikerie, SA, there have also been several reports of Bustards in Nth Vic over the last couple of weeks. There have been reports of them around Swan Hill. The last report of which I heard was a single bird beside the highway between Lake Tutchewop and the town of Lake Boga. With so many birds being drought driven out of their normal inland range we can no doubt look to see some other brids rare in our eastern and southern areas.
