They don't call 'em Smoke Hawks just because of their sexy looks!  They 
disappear in a puff of 
smoke each time a birder sees them  :-)

I won't bore you with how many times I've seen GF, or how close the inquisitive 
ones at Ned's 
Corner in far NW Victoria came to humans engaged such peculiar activities as 
digging holes in the 
middle of a mallee grassland ......
