Hello birdlovers. Lorne here.

Hope all is cool wherever you are, whatever you're doing, whatever bird
you're thinking of.

I am off to both islands of New Zealand in early December, and I'm very
keen to see various birds, but particularly kiwis, keas and the kakapo.
Can anyone point me in the direction of these? I've heard Stewart Island
is a good spot for kiwis. Is this still true? I realise the kakapo may
be hard to see, due to its endangered status and the fact that the
population is being monitored by rangers, who regulate visitors to the
bird's habitat, but does anyone have any contacts re. this species?

Thanks all.

Peace and light,
