G'day All,

Well it's flyday folks and time for another quiz. Lots and lots, of prizes and giveaways, to the world's most deserving people.

Right oh, lets get straight in to the quiz:

  1. What does the word "totipalmate" describe and which birds have this feature.
  2. When the word "Glean" is used to describe a bird?s action what is being described.
  3. Where would you most likely see a "lamellae" and what is it used for.
  4. What are mandibles.
  5. Where would you find a speculum on a duck.
  6. Which bird, famous for it?s construction skills belongs to the family "Ptilonorhynchidae"
  7. How many species of the family Spheniscidae are there.
  8. What other names are given to a Pterodroma arminjoniana.
  9. What is the colour of the primaries of a Rainbow Lorikeet.
  10. What colour is the beak of a Musk Lorikeet.

This competition closes Friday, 9th of August 2002, 1pm. Melbourne time .... for the next quiz I've got a car to give away. Potters off singing ... chitty bang bang ... chitty chitty bang bang ...
