Dear All,

Yesterday – Saturday 27th. My car was burgled outside St Hilarys Church, John St Kew,

Melbourne while we were inside attending a Wedding

Amongst what was stolen was my pair of Leica Trinovid 10*42 BA (Black in Leather pouch) Serial. No 1438487 about 6 months old - also small pair Nikon Binos 8*25 forest green. Along with the binos was copy of Morcombe (with Bob Forsyths Insert), Edition 5 of  Simpson and Day and two copies of Slater (all the Guides have a transparent sticker with my name address and Email address in black)

While the likelihood of ever seeing any of this gear again is small, birdos are the most likely people to recognise the Leicas for what they are if they should turn up in second hand or camera shop.

Any information would be most appreciated to Kew or Sale Police stations or direct to myself.

Many thanks

Don Ripper
