Powerful Owl at Banyule Flats

Denise Moore & I succeeded in locating the Powerful Owl along the Yarra
River at Banyule Flats at 3 PM today (25th July).  It was roosting in a
wattle, clutching a large portion of a very dead ringtail possum under
its huge talons.  A great sight.   Celia Browne
