Hi all

Bird number 101 for our property was seen yesterday. you guessed it, Spotted
Harrier. Fairly uncommon in the Hunter area this close to the coast. Bird
number 100 was seen last week in the same area as the Spotted Harrier and
that was a covey of 5 Brown Quail ! They are normally around this area but
it is the first time I have seen them on our place, we normally only get the
Stubble Quail. I didn't see the Harrier catch any of them though. Also on
one of our dams were 9 Hardhead. I have only ever seen one here before.
Again maybe signs of drier conditions elsewhere.
