Edwin,
I have found an Arctic Jaeger sitting on the ground at
Scarborough Boat Harbour,north of Brisbane, after strong wind and
storms early one morning in February 2001. The wind had eased off the
morning I saw it and it headed straight back out into Moreton Bay less than 5
minutes after I had arrived.Presumably it was only resting there because of the
weather, but that was just an assumption.
