Taking advantage of the great sunny weather we've been experiencing of late plus the school holidays I've been able to get out and about to some local Orange reserves over the past couple of days. The following is bird lists from these reserves.
 
South Mullion Reserve (about 10 km NE of Orange):-
 
Crimson Rosella
White Throated Treecreeper
Brown Thornbill
Buff Rumped Thornbill
Striated Thornbill
Yellow Faced Honeyeater
White Naped Honeyeater
Scarlet Robin
Eastern Yellow Robin
Varied Sittella
Golden Whistler
Grey Shrike-thrush
 
Borenore Caves Reserve (17 km west of Orange):-
 
Wedge Tailed Eagle
Crimson Rosella
White Throated Treecreeper
Superb Fairywren
Brown Thornbill
Striated Thornbill
Yellow Thornbill
Yellow Faced Honeyeater
White Naped Honeyeater
Fuscous Honeyeater
Grey Shrike-thrush
Red Browed Firetail
European Goldfinch
