Hi All,

A nice day out at the Werribee WTP plant today in the company of Shirley
Cameron, Doug Blood and Sharon
Mason.

Birding highlights were three separate sightings of Fairy Terns, the largest
group numbering 8, and a Black Falcon over the Spit lagoons which then flew
inland. (No we were not on The Spit but on the permitted track).

Also of interest was a Whistling Kite at Little River mouth which was
apparently fishing.

Not seen were recent records of Cape Barren Geese, Brolga, Freckled Duck,
and OBP's were very absent (or hiding from the falcon).

Cheerz
