The latest news in the Sydney Morning Herald does not even mention the oil
slick. It talks about the problem of fresh water for the ship's crew as the
fuel oil has contaminated the ship's supply and the locals are carrying
fresh water to the ship. Shucks!

An earlier report (just after 2pm) contained this. "They've lost a lot of
oil and I believe all their fuel oil has gone out the bottom of the ship,"
Jim Fitzgerald said. He said the incident was exciting for the locals and
tourists. "The tourists that come here, it's given them a big interest," he
said." Jolly good for tourism! Tough about the environment.

Cheers

Terry
