G'day All,

A little while ago John was very good friend's with a
very nice local chap named Ray Mackenzie, a truly
wonderful man, he would call round many a time, and
often, whilst John was making nest boxes or whatever
for his birds. Ray was a kindly fellow and an
industrial chaplain. They would enjoy each others
company and as John worked Ray would make a cuppa.

On one occasion John was making up some nest boxes for
some parrots and Ray said "Life, especially bird life,
truly is a marvel eh John?"

John replied "I couldn't agree more Ray!", as they
both slurped their cuppa's, "but Ray, it has always
got to me who really did start all this on this
planet?

Much discussion took place after that and both thought
they were correct, at the end of the discussion always
parting company as good friends should.

Ray passed away a little while ago and recently John
had a visit from another industrial chaplain. The same
warmth was there from the word go, until the new
chaplain said to John, "So John do you believe in
GOD?"

John was busy at the time with nest box making and
forgot that Ray had passed on and he therfore quickly
replied "I only wish that if he does? then Sven
remembers to play him at Centre Forward."

Life can be cruel eh? especially for unsuspecting
industrial chaplains .... the new chaplain spilled his
cuppa ~:^D>>>>

Thank you Ray for some wonderful memories, I hope you
laughed as I did.

Pen wishing all a good day.

Oh yeah John said there's a good sized gathering of
Australasian Pelicans down near the Hastings pier and
in amongst he saw some Cormorants??? he said this is a
first for him at the Hastings pier.
