Dear Ross, There are a number of pronunciations in use, the most widely accepted being "jerrigonny". Some hignoramusses however say "Jerry Gone" as in an absent German fellow. As for Warbler, I guess we say "Warbler" as in singing, or as in French " War-bleu", ie, as in sacre bleu or Oh my Gawd. How do you say Tabor? Ist es Taybor or Tarbor ? We know how to say Iowa - hear it all the time on telly. Next question ? Mex. |
