Hello Eddie,
My next-door neighbour,a dedicated golfer from South Korea, has his practise
balls constantly stolen from his back lawn . I have often seen Australian
Ravens flying past carrying them in their beaks. He tells me he thinks they
are very clever birds as they often attempt to steal his lunch which he
carries in the pocket of his golf bag when he is playing on the local golf
course. He says they worry at the zip fastener. He further says that he finds
the way they look at him when he chases them away rather intimidating.
This interaction of golfers and ravens seems to be a worldwide phenomenon.
