Good evening all

Just back from a month away. No birding just lots of rest.

While I was away, my computer was completely disconnected from the net - no
power or cable connection. When I returned, I was staggered to find a
message from a System Administrator informing me I had sent an email which
contained a virus. As many of you know, my virus protection is updated
daily and I do not leave unread messages on the computer. I updated my
system, ran a check and no virus. The addressee was not in my address book
either. Puzzled beyond belief, I contacted someone, who, although not a
subscriber to Birding-aus, regularly reads the archives. He informed me of
the messages that appeared on Birding-aus regarding this virus.

For those who doubt that such a virus is in existence, my experience shows
that it IS out there.
