Budgerigars - a drought on it's way?

Oh, there's a drought on the way all right!  I think the official figures 
have over one third of NSW already drought declared and another third or 
so drought affected.  Things are drying out big time.

Think about the number of records of Freckled Duck, Black-tailed 
Native-hen, Budgerigars etc that are showing up on the edge or beyond 
their "normal" "good season" distributions.  Will chats be next?  I'm 
sitting here in Dubbo waiting for the first of the Letter-winged Kites to 
arrive.
