Hello, I need the help of some Australian Birders. The Wild Bird Clinic at the University of Guelph (Canada) has recently recieved some stuffed specimens, among them was a Maned Duck. The only problem is that this bird has prominant green markings on its wings, and from the bird books I have consulted with it shouldn't have that. Now I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a bird like this before and/or might have further information or if I could be directed to someone who might be able to help me out. I have enclosed a link to pictures of the bird. Thank you!
