2 visits to Lake Victoria over Easter were most rewarding. The highlights

Banded Stilts in huge numbers. A few Curlew Sandpipers, one in full
breeding plummage. A Sharp-tailed Sandpiper  in near full breeding
plummage. Double-banded Plovers were numerous and both Terns, Little and
Fairy were resting on the small island down at the far end of the Lake.
Though a fair walk there, it is well worth the effort.    Denise Moore
