Hi All, Would anyone know whether the Beach Stone-Curlew has a call which can be described as distinctive? Does it call at night, or is it tide-driven? Does it call often? I am reading a document which may be confusing the call of the Beach Stone-Curlew's call with that of the Bush Stone-Curlew. In my experience of the Beach Stone-Curlew, which is mainly, admittedly, just one pair for about 18 months, I never heard them call at all. On the other hand, if I am wrong, I would like to know. This is not just passing interest. I have been asked to look at the document.
