Dear Birding-aussers.
I received this email from a Canadian birder whom I met when he visited Australia recently - I think it is self-explanatory (although my tardiness in posting it is not - my apologies to Gary).
Regards.

Hi Richard,
Nice to get your email.  I look forward to the day when I can return to Victoria and do some more birding.  A message on your listserve sounds like a good idea.  I live quite a way from Vancouver, which is most people's first destination, but I could still be 'useful' to BC visitors.  If you wouldn't mind, please post the following message for me.

"Planning a birding trip to British Columbia?  I'd be happy to help you with your plans and show you some of our birds.  I have been fortunate enough to visit Australia three times and have taken advantage of the hospitality of many Australian birders!  I look forward to returning the favour.  Contact me by email and let's see what we can do!"

Gary Davidson

Thanks Richard,

Gary
