Last month I was ticking Scaly-breasted Lorikeet in Brisbane, last weekend
it was Hudsonian Godwit here in Adelaide. To use a sporting analogy, birding's
a funny game.

Anyway thanks to Ian May for showing me the bird, we had great views, and didn't have to wait too long for it to flash its wings for us.
