In the light of all the emails about Lake Lorne , does anyone know where David Cass is now? He was involved in the original design of Lake Lorne - which for those who don't know is just a suburban park lake in Drysdale near Geelong in Victoria, but which has a great bird list and is always worth a visit. We published a birdlist in the Geelong Bird Report for 1996 which included 98 spp; many breeding records have been added since then including Bluebilled Duck, as well as additional spp such as Darter (breding) and of course the Freckled Ducks.

It would be good to update David on how well it has turned out.
