Dear Birding Ausers

We are about to update our optics and have always been married to the idea of Leica 10x42Bn's and the APO Televid angle view scope with 32xWW lens.

I read one review recently that put the Swarovski 10x42EL's above Leica.  I have also heard that some birder's have had major problems with their APO televids - lenses not fitting and so forth, so me thinks I would like to canvas opinions from people who have had experience of both.

If there is anyone out there who has been able to directly compare the optics of the  Leica's and Swarovski's  (scopes or bins) I would be grateful if you could give me your opinions.

Similarly if there are any birders out there who have had problems with any of the items listed I would also like to know.

Many thanks

Judith Hoyle
