Green pick for currawongs

Subject: Green pick for currawongs

i recently watched a group of 3 pied currawongs move accross a lawn and
selectivly graze on the leaves of Catsear (Hypochaeris radicata)a weed of
gardens and bushland edges.  Has anyone seen this before, and if yet with
what species of plants?
