Mornin' all,

I was wondering why my oversupply of Rainbow, Musk, and Purple-crowned Lorikeets, aided and abetted by Noisy Miners, Magpie Larks, and New Holland Honeyeaters were kicking up such a racket.
Aha! I thought , a raptor around the place.
But no, a quick check in my NE Adelaide suburban garden trees revealed a Koala !!!

sitting in a fork in one of my Spotted Gums ( Euc. maculata ).

The presence of Koalas in the Adelaide Hills is well documented but this is the first I've ever seen in my suburb, and it's in my garden !

Eat your heart out Jag.

Tony.
